Build loyalty with company Christmas cards

Research has shown that sending out company Christmas cards still puts businesses ahead in the festive season.Christmas cards from Omniprint

The research shows that Christmas cards are the most popular form of communication between companies and their customers during the Christmas period. Over 50% of the 78% of survey respondents who stated that they received Christmas cards from businesses said that they would be more likely to buy from or do business with a company if they sent a Christmas card.

Sending a card shows your customers that your company cares, which boosts customer loyalty. However, it is important to make sure that your cards send the right message. Stick to something on brand and take the time to sign the card by hand and double check contact details, as getting any of these parts wrong could lose custom.

To get your personalised Christmas cards printed, send us your images to info@omniprint.org.uk, tell us how many you would like, and we will send you a quote.

Company Christmas cards: outdated or a way of showing customers you care?

Christmas at Omniprint, Christmas Cards Market Harborough

Whilst sending company Christmas cards to your clients was once expected, in the last few years this trend has given way to sending e-cards or messages through social media. However, there are still many benefits to sending personalised cards to those clients, both past and present, that are important to your business.christmas ornament

So what are the benefits?

Memorable – A Christmas card will bring your business back into or keep you in a client’s consciousness. Create a memorable design to ensure you stand out in a display of cards.

Build or maintain relationships – Sending a Christmas card is a great way of saying hello and keeping in touch with the clients you haven’t checked in with in a while. It’s also a way of saying thank you for their custom, and letting them know they are valued.

Start a conversation – Whilst sending out wishes of a ‘Merry Christmas’ is to be commended, companies should utilise the opportunity to open a conversation with a client and boost your business. By all means use the card to let them know of any special offers coming up, or offer them a discount for signing up before the end of the year.

Company Christmas cards build customer loyalty

Christmas-Tree

New research shows that business Christmas cards still create a business advantage for companies who send them.

The research indicates that Christmas cards are the most popular form of communication between businesses and customers during the holiday season. Of the 78% of respondents who receive Christmas cards from businesses, over half of those recipients stated that they would be more likely to do business with a company if they sent a card.

By sending a card, your company shows that they genuinely care about their customer, which in turn enhances customer loyalty.  “Nurturing relationships with your existing, loyal customers is cost-effective for businesses because those customers have shown a propensity for your brand. When the customer is considering his next purchase, the business that sent holiday greeting cards will likely benefit,” says Marc Wagenheim, product marketing director for Hallmark Business Expressions who conducted the survey.

It is important that your cards send out the right message. Take the time to sign the card, which adds a personal touch, and ensure you double check details such as the customer’s name and title. By getting the smallest detail wrong, you could lose a potential customer.

“This survey shows that recipients appreciate a greeting card that is personal and genuine, and it’s even more important in times like these,” says Graham Sayles, MD of Omniprint. “By reaching out with business holiday cards, businesses can send genuine holiday cheer to those who matter most to them. In doing so, they’ll build customer loyalty, helping them get through the economic slowdown and boost sales in the future.”

It couldn’t be easier to show your customers that you care this Christmas.
